The South Asia Centre for Medical Physics and Cancer Research (SCMPCR) Established in 3rd July 2018, comprised of a group of philanthropic personnel with representatives from different regions of South Asia to work on different projects. It is a non-profit public partnership which will seek support from other sources. It works conjointly with various nationals and international organizations. Major activities of SCMPCR are to produce skilled manpower, enhance health education and establish a welfare home for cancer patients.
SCMPCR offers a variety of medical and allied health training opportunities for healthcare professionals in all sectors.

SCMPCR organizes a series of the International Organization of Medical Physics (IOMP) and the European Board for Accreditation in Medical Physics (EBAMP) accredited hands-on workshops
Be Trained
SCMPCR cares in-service training – aims to involve more personnel in the hospitals, daily hospital-based cases, their problems according to the country can be solved using local equipment.

We organize a variety of programs like conferences, seminars, workshops, cancer awareness, screening, general trainings on health, education, women empowerment, renewable energy and specialized training of cancer care professionals on a regular basis. We also support groups of cancer patients through self-help groups, to expand the communication between them for their own health aids and to alleviate symptoms. Besides, we publish newsletters to represent the activities and landscape of cancer care in the South Asia region.
